GET THINGS DONE
Time to time we
all as human beings have been there when we don’t want to feel like doing
anything, or we are afraid going forward, we play safe, or fear of leaving the
happy place, the safe room that we are locked in, if this gets your attention
then the following lines might be useful
1. Your deathbed
Imaging your last minutes on your deathbed, the things you have done,
the things you wish you could have done, people that you love, people you hate,
they all just goes through in front of eyes and that could one of the way to
motivate you, if you need one.
2. Think of the reward
Have that vision if you complete that action, you
are going to get the reward and the
prize, let the reward drive you to your destination.
3. Look back
This way is to see where you
were before sometime and you see the progress that you have made over the
course of time and you are somewhere close to your goal that is another way of
motivating yourself.
4. Build your plan ahead (Blueprint)
Since you have mapped out
everything, your destination that will give you confident about where you are
going with it that is another way of motivating yourself.
5. Be an actor
Playing a role, an excellent
actor can get through a lot, it defines your personality and that way you get
what you want, acting nice, tough when it need to be.
6. Be cool with yourself
This one might be
stereotypical but don’t let yourself distract with what others think of you, as
Henry david T. said in his essay, Self-reliance is the best tool you have get.
So be cool with yourself and aim forward.
7. Kill the monster in the closet
What you fear is an actually
an illusion, like a dark night, you think there is someone but there is not, so
what you fear is an illusion, so just run at it, that you will defeat your
fear.
